About this project

These posters were created for a study abroad program. I used vibrant colors to make the posters attractive and eye-catching. I also wanted to visually communicate the destination through form and color. For France, I used a dark red-violet to reflect the country's love of wine. I illustrated the Eiffel Tower and cypress trees to mimic the country's landscape. This design treatment is continued in the rest of the posters. For England and Germany, I wanted to use notable landmarks, where as for Ireland I wanted to focus on the green countryside. Germany's color reflects their economic success, but England's is blue due to their frequent rainy days. Each poster represents the respecting country both through iconic illustration and subtle color variation.
